| Scoreboardhire was founded in 2008 by Andrew and Gina Ruyssevelt who both work professionally in the horse industry. Because of their equestrian connections, they organise several large equestrian events and found that the systems of displaying scores was inadequate. Because of their additional interest in Rugby Union, they have also found that many rugby clubs were encountering the same problems when trying display scores at tounaments to large amounts of people. |
After much research they found that there was a gap in the market for mobile scoreboard units for small to moderately large sporting events where there are either many competitors or teams. As many of these types of events have limited sponsorship and budgets the Scoreboardhire provide an afordable solution with a professional appearance. To date they are regularly used for equestrian competitions, rugby tournaments and by events organisers for corporate events. |
